Description

The Salt Pro V2 is an updated take on the top load stem, built from forged 6061 T6 alloy with a 50mm extension and a central bore through the body to keep the weight down.

The faceplate has been widened to 48mm and uses Salt's STC, or shark tooth clamping, to hold the bars and stop them slipping. A side pocket detail on the body finishes it off.

Features

Wider 48mm faceplate. A wider clamping area spreads the load across more of your bar, which is what keeps the front end where you set it.
Shark tooth clamping. Salt's STC teeth bite into the bar for maximum grip, so the bars are far less likely to roll on a hard landing.
50mm extension, bored centre. A 50mm extension with a central bore through the body, so you lose weight without losing clamping area.
Forged 6061 T6 alloy. Forged from 6061 T6 alloy and left with a forged finish, so the strength comes from the shaping rather than added bulk.
Top load design. The bars sit on top of the stem body, the usual choice for riders who want their bars a little higher.
