Description

Brand new from SD, the B-85 Crankset brings a range of crank sizes in a strong 2 piece package from 140mm to 180mm in 5mm increments. Usually to cover a range like this companies split their cranks into two distinct products, but SD has recognised the need for shorter cranks to be as strong as the traditional pro sizes as the kids start to hit bigger and bigger jumps.

A technical innovation, the SD B-85 cranksets have a unique way of installing your chainring. There is no need anymore for two-piece chainring bolts as the hex bolts screw directly into the crank arms for easy installing and changing your chainring.

*Please ensure pedal washers are used and pedal threads are torqued to 40nm.
Torque on pedals with 6mm or 8mm Allan key spindle broach must be monitored periodically.

Features

140mm to 180mm sizes. Every length from 140mm to 180mm in 5mm steps, so smaller riders get the same strong crank as the pro lengths.
Chainring bolts screw straight in. Hex bolts thread directly into the crank arms, so there are no two piece chainring bolts to fight with.
24mm spindle, 104mm BCD. A 24mm spindle 112mm long and a 104mm bolt circle, so check your bottom bracket and chainring match.
Strong 2 piece package. The 2 piece design keeps the crank simple to fit and strong through the spindle.
Matt black with gloss decal. Finished in matte black with a glossy decal, so it sits quietly in most builds.
