Description

The Original 1980 Skyway Tuff 2 Rivet moulds upgraded with sealed bearings. These are what the old boys ran back in the day. Identical down to the fact that they all but indestructible. Heavy for sure, but that's a small price to pay for looking this freaking cool on the OS pub crawl!

These wheels are the freewheel version and can run a 16T and up screw on freewheel. You know the one, it goes zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz as you roll along.

Features

24 inch pair, freewheel version. Front and rear wheels for a 24 inch build, with the rear set up to take a screw on freewheel.
Runs 16T and up freewheels. Thread on a 16 tooth or larger screw on freewheel to set the gearing you want.
3/8 inch chromoly axles. Both hubs run 3/8 inch cr-mo axles, so check what your frame and forks are drilled for.
Original moulds, sealed bearings. Made on the original Tuff 2 Rivet moulds, upgraded with sealed bearings in place of the old setup.
Zytel nylon, made in USA. Moulded nylon wheels with silver rivet hub flanges: heavy, but all but indestructible.

Note: Due to the rim and bead profile, tyres may not seat evenly on Skyway Tuff wheels. The axle configuration can leave a small amount of play in the bearing assembly. As moulded plastic wheels, there can be discrepancies in trueness, edging, colour and consistency, and the heavy riveting process can cause inconsistencies with the rivets and hubs.
