Description

Sunday designed the High C with a 100% full chromoly frame, fork and bars to make it one of the most reliable 29" bikes on the market. Cruising all day, jumping curb cuts or wheelie-ing around, it is meant to handle the lot, and the rear end is shorter than most bikes this size so it is easier to handle and manipulate in tough positions.

There are bottle cage mounts on the seat tube if you feel like strapping a drink to the bike for an adventure, a quick release seat clamp for changing up your riding style, and dialled parts from Odyssey, Maxxis and FSA. Sunday took the continued success of the Model C, borrowed some characteristics of the Fairdale Taj, and ended up with something they are proud of.

Features
  • 100% chromoly frame, fork and bars. Full chromoly through the three parts that cop the most abuse, which is what makes the High C one of the most reliable 29" bikes going.
  • Shortened rear end geometry. The rear end is shorter than most bikes this size, so the High C is easier to handle and manipulate when you get into a tough position.
  • Bottle cage mounts on the seat tube. Strap your favourite beverage to the frame and take the bike out on a proper adventure instead of a lap of the block.
  • Quick release seat clamp. Drop the seat or run it up in seconds when you want to change up your riding style mid session.
  • Dialled parts from Odyssey, Maxxis and FSA. Fairdale MX-6 bars, Odyssey Twisted Pro pedals, an Odyssey 13T freewheel, a Sunday Sabretooth v2 sprocket and Maxxis Torch tyres.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.

Top tube is measured from the centre of the seat tube to the centre of the head tube, so it is not the same as the length of the tube you can see.

  • A 20 inch bike is the standard adult BMX and most riders end up there, so do not size a tall child down to a smaller wheel.
  • 22, 24 and 26 inch bikes are adult bikes with a bigger wheel, not bigger frames for taller riders.
  • Size up for stability through trails and transitions. Size down if you want the bike quick and twitchy for spins and grinds.
  • Top tube is fixed, but stem length, fork offset and bar position all shift how roomy the bike feels once you are on it.
