Description

The TLD 22S D3 AS Fiberlite Helmet is one of Troy Lee's most sort after model. Used by BMX racers the world over, the D3 features a lightweight composite design that has been in the TLD line up for years and seen on podiums the world over. Incorporating 3D cheek pads, the D3 Fiberlite has a comfortable, secure fit and in addition has quick-release cheek pads allow for helmet removal in the event of an emergency. Crashing is part of BMX racing and at LUXBMX we believe that you should put your head in the highest quality helmet that your budget will allow.

XXL63–65cm

TLD says: if you are between sizes, consider the larger size for a more relaxed fit.

How to measure

Wrap a soft tape measure to measure the circumference (around) your head an inch (2.54cm) above your eyebrows. Keep the tape level front to back around the widest part of your head. Keep it level and snug but not tight. If you don't have a measuring tape, use a piece of string, shoelace, spaghetti* or snake** then lay it out on a table and measure it with a ruler.

*Make sure the spaghetti is cooked or the snake is asleep.

**LUXBMX does not recommend using a snake to measure the circumference of your head. (It's a joke)

Between two sizes? Most helmet brands recommend the larger size and using the thicker set of pads. A helmet should feel snug all round with no pressure points, and shouldn't rock when you shake your head.
