In 1984 as a thirteen year old BMX fanatic, Bill Batchelor picked up a 35mm camera and started documenting the burgeoning Southern California BMX skatepark and freestyle scene on Tri-X and Kodachrome. Some of these images were published in his Xerox fanzines at the time, and a few appeared in the pages of BMX Plus! magazine. In 1986, Bill walked away from it all and put the negatives in a storage crate. 35 years later he's embarked on a project to release thousands of historic and super rad photos for the world to enjoy.
