Description

The Ruben signature pedal is not a regular plastic. The body uses a harder, more durable nylon and fibreglass mix, shaped into a slimmed down platform with a recessed centre concave so your foot sits in the pedal rather than on top of it.

Square pins and knurling run right across the body for grip, and a heat treated, oversized 4130 chromoly axle runs through the middle. Listed weight is 357 g / 12.59 oz.

Features
  • Nylon and fibreglass body. A harder, more durable compound than regular plastics, so the body holds its shape where a standard plastic pedal gives up.
  • Recessed concave centre. The dished middle of the platform lets your foot settle into the pedal for better feel underfoot.
  • Square pins and knurling. Grip comes from square pins backed by knurling throughout, so your shoe stays where you put it.
  • Heat treated chromoly axle. An oversized 4130 chromoly axle with heat treatment carries the load through the middle of the pedal.
  • Slimmed down signature shape. Ruben's design keeps the pedal low and simple, the shape that has been copied plenty since it landed.
