Description

The tried and true Alex DM24 in 24 inch, 507 x 24mm. It is eyeleted, has a machined braking surface and is Schrader valve compatible, so it suits a straightforward cruiser wheel build.

Weight is 610g with an effective rim diameter of 494mm for working out spoke length. A rim strip is not included.

Features
  • 24 inch, 24mm wide. A 507 x 24mm rim, so it builds into a 24 inch cruiser wheel with standard spokes and hubs.
  • Eyeleted spoke holes. Eyelets spread spoke tension into the rim, so the nipple seats are less likely to pull through under load.
  • Machined braking surface. The sidewall is machined flat, so rim brake pads bite evenly and the lever feel stays consistent.
  • Schrader valve compatible. The valve hole takes a Schrader valve, which is what most tubes at this size come with.
  • 610g, ERD 494mm. Weight is 610g and the effective rim diameter is 494mm, so you can work out spoke length before you start the build.
