Description

This is a custom rear wheel, hand built with an Alienation Illuminati hub laced into an Alienation Black Sheep 18" rim. It is 36 hole, gloss black with no decals, and intended for intermediate jump, park and street riding.

The Illuminati hub runs a 14mm nickel chromoly axle with a 6mm broach, two sealed bearings in the shell and three in the one piece chromoly driver. A four pawl driver with individual leaf springs works against a 24t ratchet ring for 15 degrees of engagement.

  • 14mm axle with 6mm broach. The nickel chromoly axle suits frames running 14mm dropouts, and the hub weighs 550g with its guard.
  • 15 degrees of engagement. A 24t ratchet ring and four pawls on individual leaf springs give precise pickup when you crank on it.
  • Five sealed bearings. Two sealed bearings in the 6016 hub body and three more in the chromoly driver keep it turning smoothly.
  • Hub guard included. A proprietary plastic non drive side hub guard comes with the wheel, so it is ready for grinds.
  • Double wall 18" rim. The Black Sheep is a 6061 T6 double wall pinned rim at 335g, 355 x 27 with a Schrader valve hole.
