Description

A 20 inch double wall rim from Alienation, built in 6061 T6 with a pinned joint and a CNC machined sidewall. The 406 diameter suits standard 20 inch BMX wheels and it takes an AV valve.

It weighs 440g with an ERD of 393, and Alienation rate it for intermediate jump and race use. Note that it is cross lacing only, so plan your spoke lengths and lacing pattern accordingly.

  • Double wall 6061 T6. Two walls of 6061 T6 give the rim the stiffness to hold true through jump landings.
  • 440g on the scales. Light for a double wall rim, so the wheel spins up quicker out of the gate.
  • CNC machined sidewall. The sidewall is machined flat and true, which gives rim brakes a consistent surface to bite.
  • Rated for jump and race. Alienation pitch it at intermediate jump and race riding, so it suits trails and track rather than street abuse.
  • Cross lacing only. It has to be laced cross pattern, so do not plan a radial build around this rim.
