Description

The S&M Pitchfork is a 24 inch fork built the way S&M build their frames: double butted 4130 chromoly legs, laser cut 4130 chromoly dropouts and a one piece CNC machined chromoly steerer with an extruded 6061 insert. The whole fork is 4Q baked after welding.

The numbers you need for the build: 162mm steerer, 33mm offset, 315.5mm axle to crown height and 0.98 kg on the scales. Compression runs an M10 x 1.25 thread with a 6mm allen slot. This one is black and comes with 990 mounts.

Features

Double butted 4130 chromoly legs. Butting puts the material where the fork takes the load, so the legs stay strong without carrying weight you do not need.
One piece CNC machined steerer. The 4130 chromoly steerer is machined from a single piece and runs an extruded 6061 insert, with 162mm of length to set up.
Laser cut chromoly dropouts. Laser cut 4130 dropouts are flat and accurate, so the axle sits square every time you drop the wheel back in.
Built with 990 mounts. The 990 mounts are already there, so you can run a brake on this 24 inch fork without hunting for adaptors.
Just under a kilo. 0.98 kg with a 33mm offset and 315.5mm axle to crown height, 4Q baked post-weld like the rest of the S&M range.
