The Box Eclipse V-brakes are possibly the stiffest brakes on the market. Sometimes you just gotta pull the lever for wheelie control down the hill to keep all the horsepower under control. At least that's what we tell ourselves anyway, and confidence is 99% of the winning formulae right? You aren't going to use the brakes during the race because nothing is slowing you down on the way to the win!

Available in two arm lengths, both the long 108-millimeter and short 85-millimeter Eclipse brake arms are cold forged and CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminium. Cold forging produces the strongest, stiffest, lightest weight and most durable bicycle parts. Both sizes feature 35 millimeters of vertical brake pad adjustment — more than most linear-pull brakes. Other features include precision sealed bearing pivots, titanium and stainless steel hardware, a flexible cable noodle and streamlined cable fixing point. The long-reach brakes are excellent for BMX, mountain, city, urban, gravel and tandem bicycles using linear-pull-compatible levers. The 85-millimeter - Mini-V brakes are an excellent choice for cyclocross bikes.
