Description

The Dust is BSD's mid offset fork. At 26mm of offset it sits between the two ends of the range: more responsive than the Acid fork, but not quite as twitchy as the Jonesin' fork.

The legs are tapered, triple butted heat-treated 4130 in Sanko Japanese chromoly, with invest cast dropouts and a one-piece fully CNC heat-treated chromo steerer at 157mm with an integrated bearing race. Full post-weld heat treatment gives the best strength to weight, the top bolt is 7075-T6 with an M24 thread, and it all comes in at 998g with the steerer cap.

Features

Mid offset at 26mm. More responsive than the BSD Acid fork, and not as twitchy as the Jonesin', so it lands in the middle.
Sanko Japanese chromoly tubing. Tapered, triple butted heat-treated 4130 legs put the material where the fork carries the load.
One-piece steerer, integrated race. Fully CNC heat-treated chromo steerer at 157mm with the bearing race built in, one less part to press on.
Invest cast dropouts. Cast dropouts hold the axle at the point the fork takes the biggest hits.
998g with the steerer cap. Full post-weld heat treatment is there for maximum strength to weight, and the top bolt is 7075-T6 alloy.
