Description

The BSD Jersey Barrier is the original two piece hubguard, built from plastic and aluminium rather than one or the other. A 7075 aluminium inner supports a high density plastic outer, so the guard stays solid instead of bending in the way an all alloy guard can.

The dual material construction is the point: it does not tighten down and crush your bearings, and the plastic outer slides where grippy alloy guards grab. Designed by Mike Jersey Taylor, made to fit the hub it is built for, with spare plastic outer parts available.

Features

Two piece, two materials. A 7075 aluminium inner carries the load while a high density plastic outer takes the grinding.
Will not crush your bearings. The dual material construction stops the guard tightening down on the hub and damaging bearings the way all alloy guards can.
Plastic outer slides. The plastic outer slides well where grippy alloy guards grab, so grinds carry further.
Solid, so it holds shape. It stays solid rather than bending in on itself the way alloy guards do.
Spare outers available. The plastic outer is available on its own, so you replace the worn piece and keep the alloy inner.
