The Chase Edge Pro XL Bike (2019) has a 21TT and is available in Sky Blue with Black parts. For the 2019 Edge series bikes, chase has upgraded their bikes with a new Triple butted Premium Ultralight Alloy Hydroformed tubed frame on the entire size range. This year, the Edge Mini has Tioga PowerBlock and Powerband Tires, a 44T Insight Chainring, Sealed bearings throughout and a massive list of other awesome options!

Features

21" top tube in Sky Blue. Chase's Pro XL frame size suits riders from 170cm to 180cm, and this one is finished in Sky Blue with black parts.
Triple butted ultralight alloy frame. Hydroformed 6061 T6 tubing with an integrated 1-1/8" head tube and water decals, the same premium frame used across the whole Edge size range.
Tioga tyres on double wall rims. PowerBand 20 x 1.85 front and PowerBlock 20 x 1.60 rear on 36H Chase Edge 175 rims with 14 gauge spokes and brass nipples.
Sealed bearings throughout. Sealed cartridge hubs with dust caps, a 118mm sealed square taper BB and a sealed integrated headset; the rear cassette hub runs 4 pawls and 96 points of engagement.
Race drivetrain and Tektro brakes. 180mm three-piece alloy cranks, Insight 44T ring, KMC Z33 chain and 16T cog, with a Tektro ML520 lever and 837AL calliper, 9.51 kg without pedals.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.

Heights overlap between classes on purpose. Where you land in two, a growing rider is usually better on the larger, and a rider who wants the bike to turn faster on the smaller. Some brands label the Pro size Pro L, with the same fit.

How to measure

Stand your rider against a wall in the shoes they ride in, heels flat, and mark the top of their head. Measure from the floor to the mark.

Between two sizes and still growing? Take the larger size.
Racing gates and wanting the bike to turn faster? Take the smaller size.
Top tube is the number that actually changes the fit, so compare it against the bike they ride now.
