We sold more Chase Element cruisers in 2020/21 than any other cruisers in this segment. So this big dawg race rig has been heavily anticipated for 2022 race year, and we expect the 2022 Chase Element Pro Cruiser range to sell fast! The Element range has really established itself as the best value for the racer looking to step up from an entry level race bike. With a part's suite that includes gear like race proven Answer carbon fibre Dagger forks, along with a disc brake system, the first step in the Element Pro range is the perfect race rig for riders coming up through the ranks. With the cruiser classes being popular with mums and dads, we are stoked that Chase are bringing in a bigger option to the Element range. With design cues from the Chase RSP frame series, the Element's geometry has input from Chase's two pro riders, Olympic champion Connor Fields, and 4X USABMX title winner Joris Daudet, the boys are definitely eyeing up the cruiser title at the Grands as they age out of Pro. Features

Two sizes, for riders 5'8" and up. A 21.5" top tube on the Pro 24 and 22" on the Pro 24+, so there is a Chase Element cruiser for every family member, even the tall ones.
Answer Dagger carbon cruiser fork. The race proven Dagger Carbon Pro Cruiser with alloy dropouts, 3/8" axle, 1-1/8" alloy steerer and alloy top cap, fitted as standard.
Hydraulic disc brake. Hydraulic lever and calliper on a 120mm rotor with resin pads and a lock disc adaptor.
Pro rider geometry in 7005 T6 alloy. Design cues from the Chase RSP frames with input from Olympic champion Connor Fields and four-time USABMX title winner Joris Daudet, plus enclosed dropouts and a chain tensioner system.
Tioga PowerBlock tyres, 180mm cranks. 24 x 1.75 front and 24 x 1.60 rear on 36H Sun Ringle Envy Lite rims, with Excess LSP two-piece cranks, an Insight 41T ring and 18T cog.

Assembly information

Your race bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
Spin the rear wheel and check the rotor runs clear of the calliper
Check the brake and tyre pressure before the first ride

Disc brakes: keep your fingers off the rotor and pads, because oil from your skin contaminates the braking surface and takes the bite away. If the rotor rubs, loosen the two calliper bolts, squeeze the lever, then tighten them again with the lever held on. Bed the brake in with a few firm stops before you race it.

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm spanner for the pedals. Check your axle hardware, since race bikes vary between bolt-on nuts and a thru-axle.

Heights overlap between classes on purpose. Where you land in two, a growing rider is usually better on the larger, and a rider who wants the bike to turn faster on the smaller. Some brands label the Pro size Pro L, with the same fit.

How to measure

Stand your rider against a wall in the shoes they ride in, heels flat, and mark the top of their head. Measure from the floor to the mark.

Between two sizes and still growing? Take the larger size.
Racing gates and wanting the bike to turn faster? Take the smaller size.
Top tube is the number that actually changes the fit, so compare it against the bike they ride now.
