Description

Emerge onto the scene in epic style with this beautiful new rig from our friends at Colony BMX! With a full Chromoly frame that adds super strength and a wide back end allows for extra wide tyre clearance (so you can run the big boys!) Stocked with a handful of Colony aftermarket parts including the Colony Muchroom grips which last for ages and are super comfortable, the Colony Aztec Seat & Pole Combo which is both lightweight and it looks sick, Colony Fantastic Plastic Pedals have your foot-grip covered and The Colony Griplock Tyres will have you stuck to the pavement! If you are looking for a bike that will help you progress and is chocker-block full of rad parts-this is the bike you need!

Features
  • Full chromoly frame. Colony build the Emerge frame from CrMo throughout for super strength, with a wide back end that gives extra tyre clearance.
  • Colony Griplock 20x2.35" tyres. Fat rubber front and rear to keep you stuck to the pavement, with room in the frame to run the big boys.
  • Full gyro and 990 brake. A 990 style rear brake with clear pads on a full gyro system, so you can spin the bars without tangling cables.
  • Colony aftermarket parts throughout. Much Room grips that last for ages, Fantastic Plastic pedals and the light Aztec fat seat and post combo, all up 11.2kgs.
  • Sealed bearings front and rear. Colony alloy hubs, 10mm axle at the front and 14mm with a 9t driver at the rear, both with plastic guards.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.

Top tube is measured from the centre of the seat tube to the centre of the head tube, so it is not the same as the length of the tube you can see.

  • A 20 inch bike is the standard adult BMX and most riders end up there, so do not size a tall child down to a smaller wheel.
  • 22, 24 and 26 inch bikes are adult bikes with a bigger wheel, not bigger frames for taller riders.
  • Size up for stability through trails and transitions. Size down if you want the bike quick and twitchy for spins and grinds.
  • Top tube is fixed, but stem length, fork offset and bar position all shift how roomy the bike feels once you are on it.
