Description

Built around a lightweight alloy frame, coupled with appropriately sized geometry, makes these the perfect bike for the younger, smaller BMXers starting out. Progression & having fun with BMX will come naturally, for all styles of riding, including those aspiring to be a future BMX Freestyle Olympic athlete. With the Colony Horizon series of BMX bikes, there is no limit to where BMX could be taken.

Features

Lightweight alloy frame for little riders. A 6061T6 alloy Colony Horizon 14 inch frame with a 13.9" top tube and a 10.25" rear end.
Sized so learning comes easy. A 40cm standover and 8.7 inch bottom bracket height keep it low, with a 75.0º head angle and 71º seat angle.
Chromoly fork and bars. Tapered CrMo fork legs and 6.5" rise, 21.5" wide chromoly bars handle the tip-overs that come with learning.
Sealed hubs with a 9T driver. Alloy 28H hubs on 10mm axles, fully sealed front and rear, with a cassette driver out back.
8.2 kg all up. 110mm 3-piece tubular CrMo cranks, mid sealed bottom bracket, 25T sprocket and an alloy V-brake with a short reach lever.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.
