The Colony Horizon 16 Inch Bike is a small BMX Freestyle bicycle with a lightweight alloy frame in purple on the top and blue on the lower section. It features black handlebars, seat, tires, and pedals, and is displayed against a white background.

Description

Built around a lightweight alloy frame, coupled with appropriately sized geometry, makes these the perfect bike for the younger, smaller BMXers starting out. Progression & having fun with BMX will come naturally, for all styles of riding, including those aspiring to be a future BMX Freestyle Olympic athlete. With the Colony Horizon series of BMX bikes, there is no limit to where BMX could be taken.

Features
  • Proper geometry, sized down. A 15.9" top tube, 11.25" rear end and 9.5" bottom bracket height on 16 inch wheels, so a smaller rider gets a bike that fits.
  • Lightweight alloy frame. The 6061-T6 alloy frame holds the bike to 8.8 kg, light enough that progression and having fun come naturally.
  • 990 rear brake with alloy lever. A 990 style rear brake with clear pads runs a slick cable to a short reach alloy lever suited to small hands.
  • Chromoly forks, bars and cranks. Tapered leg chromoly forks, 7.0" rise chromoly bars and 125mm tubular chromoly 3-piece cranks handle the learning crashes.
  • Sealed bearing wheels. 28 hole alloy single wall rims on sealed bearing hubs with a 9T cassette driver, wrapped in Family F2128 16 x 2.1" tyres.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.
