Description

The Colony Wasp Lite is the light version of Colony's Wasp front hub. Switching to an alloy axle brought the weight of the standard Wasp down to 221 grams.

Flange diameter is 38mm, flange to locknut is 15mm and the axle measures 100mm locknut to locknut. Check those figures against your forks and your spoke lengths before you build it up.

Features
  • Just 221 grams. The Wasp Lite comes in at 221g, so it takes weight straight off the front wheel.
  • Alloy axle saves weight. Colony switched the ever popular Wasp to an alloy axle, and that is where the saving comes from.
  • 38mm flange diameter. Flange diameter is 38mm and flange to locknut is 15mm, the numbers you need for working out spoke lengths.
  • 100mm axle width. Measures 100mm locknut to locknut, so check it against the spacing on your forks.
  • Front hub only. Sold as the front hub on its own, so pair it with your own rim, spokes and nipples.
