The Cult Gateway 20 Inch BMX Complete Bike allows you to be part of the Cult crew right out the gate. Modern geometry matched with well-styled, quality Cult components makes the Gateway a premium choice of complete bike that will handle whatever you can throw at it, looking damn good in the process! 

Features
  • Chromoly front end and fork steerer. The Gateway puts chromoly where the loads are highest, with 10mm dropouts, so it handles whatever you throw at it.
  • Modern geometry. A 20.5" top tube, 75° head tube, 71° seat tube, 13.65" chainstays and an 11.8" bottom bracket height.
  • 3-piece chromoly cranks, 170mm. Running a sealed mid bottom bracket and a 25T Member style sprocket, so the drivetrain stays quiet and needs little attention.
  • Sealed 9T driver, sealed hubs. The 14mm rear hub runs a sealed 9T driver and the front is sealed too, so the bearings stay clean through wet sessions.
  • Cult Vans 2.4" tyres. Wide rubber on Cult Match single wall alloy rims, with 9" x 30" bars, a top load stem and a 990 U-brake.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.

Top tube is measured from the centre of the seat tube to the centre of the head tube, so it is not the same as the length of the tube you can see.

  • A 20 inch bike is the standard adult BMX and most riders end up there, so do not size a tall child down to a smaller wheel.
  • 22, 24 and 26 inch bikes are adult bikes with a bigger wheel, not bigger frames for taller riders.
  • Size up for stability through trails and transitions. Size down if you want the bike quick and twitchy for spins and grinds.
  • Top tube is fixed, but stem length, fork offset and bar position all shift how roomy the bike feels once you are on it.
