Description

When the LUX Crew laid their eyes on the Vick Behm Cult race frame in the raw colourway, they all had the same idea at once, let's build a sick custom CrMo race bike and throw all the fast gear at it. Starting with the Cult CrMo 21.5" raw frame and Cult Race CrMo forks , we've spec'd Spectre NME carbon rims laced to Onyx hubs with Spectre titanium spokes. So from the ground up, it's all about performance as well as style. Avian Cadence cranks handle the power transfer from the legs, while the cockpit runs with the super popular Tangent brand for the stem and Cult 8.5' bars. Of course we've thrown a set of flats on it in keeping with the overall theme of the build.

If you want to hit the podium in style then this Cult race custom bike will have the comp scratching their heads as you chuck it flat on the biggest jump on the track. Heck, you could easily take it to the trails, skate park, or it would make a killer pump track weapon. The consensus here at the shop that it's actually one of the best all round race bikes that we've built and we are offering it up to you guys. We envisage that the buyer will be a little older who runs with the notion that steel is real, and in this case, there's no compromise on performance with the Cult frame running modern race geometry. But we'd also love to see a AA Pro jump on it and send the big side of the track!

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.
