Description

The Division Blitzer 14" steps things up for young riders ready to push a little further. A Hi-Ten frame, responsive geometry and bigger 14" wheels make it good for everything from rolling the streets to learning first tricks at the park.

A proper 3-piece CrMo crank, sealed cassette hub and wide 2.3" tyres give it that real BMX feel: strong, smooth and ready to go. Whether it is progression or just having a blast, the Blitzer 14" delivers in style.

Features

  • Proper 3-piece CrMo crank. A 110mm CrMo crankset on a sealed MID bottom bracket puts real BMX strength in the part that takes the most abuse.
  • Sealed cassette rear hub. A Division alloy sealed bearing hub with a 9T driver and 14mm axle keeps the ride smooth and the feel true to BMX.
  • Bigger 14" wheels. Alloy single wall 32H rims and black stainless spokes with Family F641 14 x 2.3" tyres for grip on rough ground.
  • Responsive small-rider geometry. A 13.9" top tube, 10.25" chainstays and a 75 degree head tube keep it easy to steer and quick to react.
  • Light and dialled at 9.5 kg. Division Hi-Ten bars with 6.5" rise and 21.5" width, a forged alloy 40mm topload stem and a railed seat.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.

Rather have it done? Ask us about extra assembly before you order, or any local bike shop can finish the build for a small fee.

14 inch BMX sizing

A 14 inch bike suits a rider of about 81 to 106cm, usually 3 to 5 years old, on a 14 to 14.5 inch top tube. It sits between the 12 and the 16.

160cm and up22"21 to 22.25"
160cm and up24"21.75 to 22"
160cm and up26"22 to 23"

Sizes overlap on purpose, so personal preference comes into it. At this wheel size the top tube barely changes the fit: go by height, and check they can stand over the bike flat footed.

How to measure

Stand your rider against a wall in the shoes they ride in, heels flat, and mark the top of their head. Measure from the floor to the mark.

  • Between two wheel sizes? Go up. Kids grow into a bike far faster than they grow out of the fun.
  • They should be able to stand over the top tube with both feet flat on the ground.

Not sure? Send us their height and we will tell you what we would put them on.
