Time to step up to a 20inch bike? No wokkas! DK have the perfect bike for you! These Aura's are back and better then ever this year! Featuring glow in the dark graphics on the frame for some extra visibility and radness at night, a 20 inch top tube so the smaller rider can grab the bars a bit easier, 3 piece cranks for extra strength, modern 25-9T gearing, a relaxed 74.5 degree head tube to improve the handling and feel of the bike, loads of awesome parts and so much more! The biggest of the Aura collection, the 2021 DK Aura 20” rolls on full-sized twenties on a smaller frame with a 20” top tube to fit smaller folks. Sealed bearings all around, a 1-piece seat/post combo, alloy rims and three-piece chromoly cranks handle business. For this season we are offering two new colors, with glow-in-the-dark graphics for a fun and unique look that shines night and day. The Aura 20” is an affordable bike to get your BMX mind in the right place.

  • Full size wheels, smaller frame. A 20" top tube on full twenties, so smaller riders can reach the bars without stretching.
  • Relaxed 74.5° head tube. The slacker front end steadies the steering and makes the Aura easier to handle while you learn.
  • Three piece chromoly cranks. Wise tubular 170mm cranks on a 19mm sealed mid bottom bracket, running modern 25-9T gearing.
  • Grippy 2.3 inch street tyres. 20 x 2.3" Innova street tyres on 36 hole alloy rims, with a Wise alloy U-brake and lever, all up 12.0 kg.
  • Glow in the dark graphics. Frame graphics that show up at night for extra visibility, finished with a 3D head tube badge.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.

Top tube is measured from the centre of the seat tube to the centre of the head tube, so it is not the same as the length of the tube you can see.

  • A 20 inch bike is the standard adult BMX and most riders end up there, so do not size a tall child down to a smaller wheel.
  • 22, 24 and 26 inch bikes are adult bikes with a bigger wheel, not bigger frames for taller riders.
  • Size up for stability through trails and transitions. Size down if you want the bike quick and twitchy for spins and grinds.
  • Top tube is fixed, but stem length, fork offset and bar position all shift how roomy the bike feels once you are on it.
