Description

Ongoing colours for the 2025 year, but it's still the deadset reliable DK Sprinter that we have grown to know and love under that shiny new finish, and that's perfectly fine by us. By far one of our most popular club racer level bikes, the DK Sprinter has forged a reputation of a race bike that you can jump on and kick off your BMX racing career.

All the Sprinter models start with a proven 6061 aluminium frame creating a platform that is light, responsive, and sturdy enough to withstand the rigors of BMX. On the front end of each Sprinter, you’ll find chromoly forks that can handle repeated harsh landings and keep you running straight out of the gate. All the Sprinters have sealed bearings throughout, linear braking systems, and alloy cranks in different lengths to accommodate each size in the range.

From the smallest Sprinter, the Micro, sporting an 18 x 1” wheelset, all the way up to the 24” Sprinter Cruiser, each bike in the collection features size specific specifications to accommodate riders for each class of bike. The smaller bikes in the range see narrow tires and aluminum bars, while the Pro size and up Sprinters feature chromoly bars and more tire width to carry the weight of bigger riders, at speed. In terms of performance, quality, and value, you’ll be hard pressed to find better race bikes for the buck than the DK Sprinter series.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.

Rather have it done? Ask us about extra assembly before you order, or any local bike shop can finish the build for a small fee.

Heights overlap between classes on purpose. Where you land in two, a growing rider is usually better on the larger, and a rider who wants the bike to turn faster on the smaller. Some brands label the Pro size Pro L, with the same fit.

How to measure

Stand your rider against a wall in the shoes they ride in, heels flat, and mark the top of their head. Measure from the floor to the mark.

  • Between two sizes and still growing? Take the larger size.
  • Racing gates and wanting the bike to turn faster? Take the smaller size.
  • Top tube is the number that actually changes the fit, so compare it against the bike they ride now.

Not sure? Send us their height and we will tell you what we would put them on.
