Description

The Eclat AK guard sprocket is the latest part in Eclat team rider Alex Kennedy's signature range, and it borrows the idea behind his signature pedal. The 8mm thick sprocket is fully CNC machined from 6061-T6 alloy and carries a 10mm thick nylon and fibreglass guard, bolted on with four small bolts.

The guard is fully replaceable: wear it out, bolt a new one on, and you do not even need to take the cranks off. Because the nylon and fibreglass material is high impact and low friction, you can grind and slide on the sprocket in ways a standard alloy guard will not allow, which opens up a lot of grind combinations.

Features

Replaceable nylon guard. When you wear the guard out you bolt a fresh one on with four small bolts, and you do not need to remove the cranks to do it.
23.8mm axle bore. Check your spindle before you order: the sprocket is bored at 23.8mm and it is not compatible with the Eclat Maverick crank.
Grinds and slides better. The high impact, low friction nylon and fibreglass guard lets you grind on the sprocket in ways a standard alloy guard will not.
Full CNC 6061-T6 alloy. An 8mm thick sprocket machined from 6061-T6 alloy sits behind the 10mm guard, so the whole thing stays solid under impact.
Sunken chain adapter. The sunken adapter improves chain alignment, so the chain sits where it should once the sprocket is bolted up.
