(Braking Surface Rim)

The first-ever Freestyle BMX specific Carbon Fiber Rim. The Carbonic Rim was x3 years of R&D into utilizing the huge strength and stiffness properties of Carbon Fiber in a BMX rim. With a much wider/taller shape and a thicker layer of material around the critical areas, we are extremely happy with the end results and are stoked to bring a totally new kind of product to BMX.

We worked with one of the top Carbon Fiber manufactures in the world to ensure we were using only the best material and to make sure the rim was tough enough to comfortably give to any of our team riders. Tested extensively in the laboratory and together with the eclat team on the streets and on transitions, the Carbonic is for sure not a rim for everyone but for riders looking for an extremely stiff and lightweight setup, these could be the dream rims for you.

Available in a brakeless and brake specific option with a brake pad ready sidewall layer.

Brake pad ready sidewall. This version has a brake specific sidewall layer, so you can run rim brakes on a carbon rim.
36 hole drilling only. Built in 36h with offset spoke drilling, which improves spoke alignment when you lace it to a 36 hole hub.
Torayca carbon fibre. Made with high performance Torayca carbon fibre and extra material around the critical areas, so it holds up to impact.
360g per rim. Far lighter and stiffer than an alloy rim, which suits riders chasing a light, stiff setup rather than a set and forget one.
Tubeless ready. The rim is tubeless ready, so you can go without a tube if the rest of your setup allows it.
