Description

The Cortex EVO CS is the updated version of Eclat's classic Cortex cassette hub, rebuilt around a high engagement 108 point, six pawl internal mechanism. The internals were tested and developed alongside the Eclat pro team, and the refined 6061-T6 alloy shell keeps it a strong street hub without going overboard.

It runs a 14mm male hollow bore hardened chromoly axle with a hex key inner axle for easy maintenance, a 36 hole flange and a right side drive 9 tooth driver on a three bearing system. The Viper nylon hub guard and Gong driver guard are included, along with a driver side cone washer if you would rather run it without a guard.

Features
  • 108 points of engagement. Six multi tooth pawls pick up quickly, so a small pedal movement gets you moving when you are pumping through a spot.
  • 9T driver, right side drive. A nine tooth RSD driver drops into a standard street setup without adaptors or extra parts.
  • 14mm chromoly axle. Hardened, heat treated and hollow bored, with a hex key inner axle so you can service it with one tool.
  • Hub guards in the box. Comes with the Viper nylon hub guard and the Gong driver guard, so it is street ready straight away.
  • Three bearing driver. Sealed 6902 bearings in the shell and a three bearing driver keep the whole thing spinning through grinds and drops.
