Description

This is the Eclat Cortex OS front wheel with the Bondi logo rim: a Bondi straight wall rim laced to the Cortex OS front hub with stainless steel spokes and black nipples. Rim tape is included.

The Cortex OS is the oversize version of Eclat's Cortex front hub, running two oversize rear hub bearings for lower rolling resistance and more impact strength. It uses the same deeper set hubguard design, a hex key inner axle, a narrow flange for better spoke clearance, and longer 35mm bolts to make room for plastic pegs.

  • Oversize rear hub bearings. The Cortex OS front hub uses two oversize rear hub bearings, so it rolls faster and takes harder impacts and loads.
  • Comes with two nylon hubguards. The deeper set hubguard design is grind friendly, so the wheel is ready for street use as it comes.
  • 35mm bolts suit plastic pegs. The longer bolt leaves room for plastic pegs and gives a stronger female bolt setup.
  • Hex key inner axle. The inner axle takes a hex key, which keeps maintenance simple.
  • Rim tape included. It is laced with stainless steel spokes and black nipples, and rim tape comes in the box.
