Description

Felix Prangenberg's signature guard sprocket carries over the removable, replaceable guard idea from his previous Wethepeople sprocket. The sprocket itself is full CNC 6061-T6 alloy at 6.35mm thick, made in 25t only, with an 11mm thick nylon fibreglass guard held on by five direct mount bolts.

The sprocket and guard have five rotation points, so you can move the guard around as it wears and get more life out of one sprocket. It runs directly on a 24mm spindle with adapters supplied for 19mm and 22mm, and there is clearance for wider half-link chains. Weight is 156g.

  • Runs on a 24mm spindle. Bolts straight onto 24mm cranks, and adapters for 19mm and 22mm spindles come in the box.
  • Replaceable 11mm nylon guard. The thick nylon fibreglass guard takes the grinding hits, so you replace the guard instead of the whole sprocket.
  • Five rotation points. Rotate the sprocket within the guard as it wears down, so one sprocket lasts you a lot longer.
  • Five bolt direct mount. The guard is secured to the sprocket with five direct mount bolts, so it stays put when things get rowdy.
  • Half-link chain clearance. There is clearance built in for wider half-link chains, so your chain runs without fouling the guard.
