Description

The Shift FM14 is the famous Eclat Shift hub in a female 14mm version, built around the patented Wethepeople Hybrid internal system. That means one hub does both jobs: it runs as a freecoaster out of the box, and the springs included convert it to a cassette when you want drive.

The shell is refined 6061-T6 alloy drilled 36 hole, sized 112mm x 14mm, on a 4130 chromoly female axle with 14mm female bolts and two 6903 bearings. The driver is 9t on a three bearing system with a MagnaDrive magnetic driver, available RSD or LSD, and slack adjustment is simple. A Viper nylon hub guard and Gong driver hub guard are included, along with a driver side cone spacer for running without a guard.

Features
  • Freecoaster and cassette in one. The Hybrid internals run as a freecoaster, and the springs in the box convert it to a cassette hub.
  • 14mm female bolts. The 4130 chromoly female axle takes 14mm female bolts, so it sits neat and tidy in the dropouts.
  • MagnaDrive magnetic driver. The magnetic driver keeps engagement consistent, so it picks up when you pedal without dragging you along in fakie.
  • Simple slack adjustment. You can set how much slack you want without pulling the whole hub to pieces.
  • Two hub guards included. The Viper nylon guard and Gong driver guard are in the box, plus a driver side cone spacer if you run without a guard.
