Description

The Excess EFW-S is a cold extruded freewheel running three pawls for 36 points of engagement, so pickup is quick when you get back on the pedals out of a corner. The cog is chrome finished with a black centre.

It runs either a 1/8 inch or a 3/32 inch chain. Thread differs by size: 14 and 15 tooth use an M30 pitch, while 16 tooth and above use the standard 1.375 x 24 TPI, so match it to your hub.

  • From 129g. The 14 tooth weighs 129g, the 15 tooth 132g, the 16 tooth 156g and the 17 tooth 176g.
