Description

Fairdale’s Weekender is one of the OG models that helped shape the brand — designed from day one as a versatile “light-tourer” that can crush weekday commutes and roll straight into weekend escapes. Over the years it’s been refined, polished and dialled, but the vibe has never changed: simple shifting, dialled comfort, and real-world practicality.

The updated geometry is built around 27.5 x 2.1” tyres for extra confidence and comfort, while still giving you the option to swap in 700c wheels whenever you feel like mixing things up. The ride position is relaxed, smooth and ready for long days, short spins, or anything in between. Add disc brakes boosted with Fairdale’s Odyssey® Linear Slic Kables, and you’ve got a bike that just works — everywhere.

  • Chromoly frame and fork. Disc ready, with rack and fender mounts, so it handles weekday commutes and rolls straight into weekend escapes.
  • Built around 27.5 x 2.1" tyres. Maxxis Pace rubber on double wall, tubeless compatible rims gives extra confidence and comfort on rough roads and dirt.
  • Swap to 700c whenever you like. The frame takes 700c wheels as well as the stock 27.5 setup, so the bike changes character with the wheelset.
  • Promax disc brakes. DSK-717 callipers and XL-91 levers, running Fairdale's Odyssey Linear Slic Kables for the cable pull.
  • Simple 1x nine speed shifting. FSA Vero Pro cranks with a 42T narrow-wide ring into an 11 to 42T MicroShift Advent drivetrain: plenty of range, little to fuss over.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.
