The Weekender is made to travel. It will happily do weekday commuter duty on rough city roads, but it really shines when you take it for a long haul, with a 100% chromoly frame and fork carrying rack and fender mounts for whatever you need to bring along.
The Nomad build runs SRAM Apex 1 gearing: a 42T narrow-wide chainwheel, an 11-42T 11-speed cassette and a long cage rear derailleur, with Avid BB7 Road disc brakes and tubeless compatible 650b wheels on 27.5" x 1.65" Maxxis Overdrive tyres. The small size suits riders around 5'2" to 5'7" (157 to 170 cm).
