The Federal Pivotal Seat Post is a long post for riders who run the seat high rather than slammed. It takes a pivotal seat, so the seat bolts on through a single centre bolt and the angle is set by the splines.

At 230mm there is plenty of post above the clamp to set your height where you want it. Work out the height you actually ride at before you cut anything down.
