Get out there and have an absolute blast on this big rig from Fiend! The Fiend Type O 26 Inch Bike is all about comfort and fun whether it's a casual ride or ripping through the streets hopping curbs or riding on one wheel. The 26-inch frame has a chromoly top and down tube and features 4-piece 7 inch rise handlebar, Type 26 full chromoly fork with tapered legs, 3-piece chromoly cranks with a sealed Mid bottom bracket, Reynolds PC pedals, a 14mm rear cassette hub, Mission X7 rims, an embossed 1-piece Fiend seat/post combo, 2.2 inch tires and Fiend flangeless Team grips.

Features
  • Big wheels, same BMX feel. A 26" frame built to BMX proportions: casual cruising, curb hops and riding on one wheel all feel familiar.
  • Chromoly frame tubes and fork. Chromoly top and down tubes with a full chromoly tapered-leg fork keep the front end solid under a bigger rider.
  • 175mm 3-piece chromoly cranks. Longer arms and a sealed Mid bottom bracket give you leverage to get the big wheels moving.
  • 4-piece bars with 7" rise. A taller cockpit with flangeless Team grips and a Crown top load stem keeps longer rides comfortable.
  • Cassette hub and wide rims. Mission Combat 14mm cassette hub with a sealed 9T driver, Mission X7 rims and Innova 2.20" tyres, all up 14.5 kg.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.

A 26 inch is the largest BMX wheel, for riders about 160cm and up, on a 22 to 23 inch top tube. It is a ride feel rather than a size step: more roll and stability, still BMX geometry.
