Description

Josh Dove's signature frame in the long 13.6" rear end, built for deep bowls and trails. Investment cast seat stay bridge, dropouts and chain stay yoke pair with multi-butted, tapered Japanese Sanko tubing and internal gussets.

Behind it is Dovey's preferred geometry, taking in the Tierra frame that riders asked to see again, reintroduced with a few subtle adjustments for modern park riding. Bowls, trails or park, the Dove has your transitions covered.

Features

Long 13.6" rear end. Extra stability for deep bowls and trails, keeping the front end planted when you are carrying real speed.
74.5° head tube angle. A touch slacker than the 13.2" version, matched with a 71° seat tube and 11.5" bottom bracket height.
Japanese Sanko triple butted tubing. Multi-butted and tapered with internal gussets, so weight comes out of the frame without giving up strength.
Investment cast at the stress points. Heat treated chromoly dropouts, chain stay yoke and seat stay bridge take the impacts that crack lesser frames.
Integrated chain tensioners. Built into the dropouts, so your wheel stays put with nothing bolted on around the axle.

The height bands overlap on purpose. If you land in two of them, riding style breaks the tie: longer for flow, trails and transitions, shorter for technical street and park. Plenty of riders, pros included, deliberately ride longer than a chart suggests.

How to measure

Top tube is measured from the centre of the seat tube to the centre of the head tube, so it is not the length of the tube you can see. Measure your current frame that way and compare.

Size up for stability through trails and transitions.
Size down if you want the bike quick and twitchy for spins and grinds.
Top tube is fixed once you buy, but chainstay length, stem length, fork offset and bar position all change how the built bike feels.
