The Neo 16" lets the youngest shredders join the game on a bike that is safe, light and tough. It has been thought through from the first part to the last so that it rides as well as a 20" bike, just scaled down to suit a small rider.

That means a Fly Manual Mini lever, a 40mm Mini stem, Ruben Mini grips and 16" tyres, all chosen for the size of the person using them. It is the match between fun and secure riding that the fresh lids of the park need, and the whole bike weighs 9 kg.

Features

Scaled down, not cut down. Every part is picked so the Neo rides like a 20" bike: Fly Manual Mini lever, Mini stem, Ruben Mini grips and 16" tyres.
Light at 9 kg. A small rider can pick the bike up, wheel it around the park and get themselves back on it without help.
16" geometry that actually fits. A 16" top tube, 10.6" chainstays, 9.5" bottom bracket height and 7" standover keep the bike low and easy to get on.
Trebol 3-piece chromoly cranks, 140mm. Short chromoly arms on a sealed Spanish bottom bracket with a 23T CNC machined alloy sprocket, built to last.
Sealed rear hub with 9T driver. A Trebol sealed bearing rear hub on 28H semi-double walled rims, with Fly Ruben 2.0 tyres front and rear.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.

A 16 inch bike suits a rider of about 96 to 122cm, usually 4 to 7 years old, on a 16 to 16.5 inch top tube. It is the size most kids learn to ride properly on.

Sizes overlap on purpose, so personal preference comes into it. At this wheel size the top tube barely changes the fit: go by height, and check they can stand over the bike flat footed.

How to measure

Stand your rider against a wall in the shoes they ride in, heels flat, and mark the top of their head. Measure from the floor to the mark.

Between two wheel sizes? Go up. Kids grow into a bike far faster than they grow out of the fun.
They should be able to stand over the top tube with both feet flat on the ground.
