Description

The Ruben Ligera is one of the most requested tyres Fly Bikes has had from trail riders over the years, and it is back in a larger, more modern size. The classic Ruben Ligera tread is now offered in a 20" x 2.40 fitment.

It is a trails specific tyre that pairs the lighter weight of Kevlar folding construction with Fly's HPPR high pressure and puncture resistant layers, a pinch resistant layer and a high pressure casing. 60 TPI construction, 120 psi maximum pressure, 720g.

Features

Trails tyre, 2.40 inch. Fly took the classic Ruben Ligera design and gave it a 20" x 2.40 size, so you get the old tread with modern volume.
Kevlar folding bead. The folding Kevlar construction keeps the weight down at 720g, which is 25oz on the scales.
HPPR puncture resistant layer. Fly's high pressure and puncture resistant layer technology sits under the tread to help the tyre survive trail sessions.
Pinch resistant layer inside. An extra pinch resistant layer backs up the high pressure casing, which is where trail riders tend to cop flats.
60 TPI, 120 psi. 60 TPI construction with a maximum pressure of 120 psi, so you can run it hard and fast for trails.
