The Sierra 18" is an exact replication of Sergio Layos' signature frame, same design and same specs, adapted to fit riders roughly 7 to 12 years old. An 18.7" top tube, a 12.2" slammed rear end, 8" standover and a 10.5" bottom bracket height keep it in proportion, and there is a wide range of supported parts to build it into a complete top range 18" machine.
Tubing is 4130 chromoly, Japanese Sanko triple butted, with a CNC machined heat treated head tube and bottom bracket. The dropouts, seat clamp and seatstay bridge are investment cast 4130 chromoly, heat treated. Brake mounts are EBS style on the chainstays, head tube angle is 75° and seat tube 71°, the bottom bracket is Spanish and the frame weighs 1.967 kg.
