Description

The Volcano is a new take on the BMX steerer tube. A slightly ovalised fork crown spreads the fork legs further apart for greater tyre clearance, creates a stronger overall junction, and flushes the crown up to the base of the head tube for a seamless look.

The Volcano 30 dropouts are a refined 30mm offset version of the Agua dropout, with an improved bottom cone that is angled and rounded to avoid hanging up during grinds. An improved welding process gives deeper weld penetration, and the Volcano top bolt uses a sunken cone washer for better tightening and threads into an insert rather than into the steerer itself. Legs are seamless Sanko triple butted 4130 chromoly, fully post weld heat treated.

Volcano 30 dropouts. A refined 30mm offset version of the Agua dropout, with the bottom cone angled and rounded so it does not hang up during grinds.
Stronger steerer, better top bolt. The top bolt threads into an insert rather than into the steerer, and a sunken cone washer helps it tighten down properly.
Deeper weld penetration. An improved welding process was used to make this fork as strong as Fly could possibly get it.
Sanko triple butted legs. Seamless 4130 chromoly, fully post weld heat treated, 1.049 kg in black or 1.014 kg in flat raw with the top bolt.
