Taj Mihelich is arguably one of the most inspirational and creative BMX freestyle riders of all time, setting the tone for new school BMX from the 1990s onwards. 2025 marks 30 years since his original signature frame from Hoffman Bikes: the wishbone seat and chain stays made it one of the most revolutionary frames of the time, and the double wishbone went on to define the T1 Barcode he built with Joe Rich.
Our tribute build sits on the re-released 21.5" Taj frame and the Hoffman Superfork, blending mid and new school stock with a nod to the late 1990s. Old stock Primo, PWRBT and Fly parts run alongside a Federal Pro front hub, a Tall Order Drone rear and Odyssey Aitken Street tyres, with modern geometry and 11.11 kg on the scales.
