Description

The ION BMX Carbon Fiber 20 rims are designed specifically for freestyle BMX riding.
Made from Toray T800 high modulus carbon fiber, they deliver a blend of superior tensile strength and exceptional lightweight durability, creating a rim that stands out in both strength and performance.

Features
  • Toray T800 carbon fibre. High modulus, high tensile strength carbon gives a rim that is both strong and very light for freestyle riding.
  • About 315g per rim. Weight is 315g plus or minus 15g, which takes a serious chunk out of the weight you have to spin up.
  • 36 hole only. It comes in 36 hole with 4D spoke hole drilling, so you will need a 36 hole hub to lace it.
  • Braking surface built in. The patented tonal marble weave braking surface runs on the rim itself, but you must use carbon specific brake pads.
  • 37mm wide, 22mm deep. ETRTO 406x30c with an ERD of 381mm, 383mm effective, so you can size spokes and tyres before you build.
