Description

The ION BMX Carbon Fiber 22 rims are the first 22" Freestyle BMX carbon fiber rims. Weighing almost 130 grams less than any other 22" rim available, reduces rotational mass to enhance the bike’s agility and responsiveness.
Constructed from Toray T800s intermediate modulus carbon fiber, these rims offer an exceptional combination of high tensile strength and outstanding lightweight durability, resulting in a rim that excels in both strength and performance.

Features
  • First 22 inch carbon freestyle rim. ION built the first carbon fibre rim for 22 inch freestyle bikes, so cruiser riders finally get a carbon option.
  • About 130 grams lighter. It weighs almost 130 grams less than any other 22 inch rim, cutting rotational mass so the bike feels more agile.
  • Toray T800s carbon construction. Intermediate modulus carbon gives high tensile strength with light weight, so the rim is strong and quick to spin up.
  • 4D drilled, 36 hole only. The 36 hole 4D drilling sets the spoke angle at the rim, and it is drilled for a Schrader valve.
  • Patented braking surface. The tonal marble weave sidewall gives you a braking surface, but you will need carbon specific brake pads.
