Description

The ION BMX Carbon Fiber 22 rims are the first 22" Freestyle BMX carbon fiber rims. Weighing almost 130 grams less than any other 22" rim available, reduces rotational mass to enhance the bike’s agility and responsiveness.
Constructed from Toray T800s intermediate modulus carbon fiber, these rims offer an exceptional combination of high tensile strength and outstanding lightweight durability, resulting in a rim that excels in both strength and performance.

Features
  • First 22 inch carbon rim. ION say this is the first 22" freestyle BMX carbon fibre rim, so 22" riders finally get a carbon option.
  • Almost 130 grams lighter. It weighs almost 130 grams less than any other 22" rim available, which reduces rotational mass and sharpens the bike's agility and response.
  • Toray T800s carbon fibre. Intermediate modulus carbon with high tensile strength and lightweight durability, so it holds up as well as it rolls.
  • Brakeless design, 36h only. Drilled 36 hole with 4D spoke hole drilling and no braking surface, ERD 433mm.
  • Drilled for Schrader valves. The valve hole takes a Schrader (A/V) valve, and the rim carries a 2 year warranty against manufacturer defects.
