Description

The Gap XL is a versatile bike ready to handle more serious riding, sized up for taller riders with a 21" top tube. It brings 4130 chromoly steel tubing into areas of the frame, fork and handlebars to improve overall strength and longevity.

Upgrades like the Stealth seat system offer more adjustability and modern compatibility, and the sealed mid bottom bracket and sealed integrated headset keep things running smoothly. Its moderate to modern geometry is great for all types of riding.

Features

Sized up for taller riders. A 21" top tube with 13.25" chainstays and a 9" standover gives taller riders room without changing the handling.
Chromoly through the key tubes. 4130 in the head tube, top tube and down tube, plus the fork steerer and the bars, for strength where it counts.
Stealth seat system. The Kink Plymouth/Bomber seat and Mission Stealth post give you more adjustability and modern compatibility.
Kink Ridge 3-piece cranks. Tubular chromoly, 170mm, 8 spline: built for riders starting to put the bike through real punishment.
Sealed mid BB and integrated headset. Less maintenance and a smoother feel through the cranks and the front end, session after session.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.
