Description

The Helm bars strike a balance between strength and weight by using internal butting throughout the main tubing and the crossbar. That puts thickness and strength where it is needed, in the bends, the weld points and the ends of the bars, while keeping the tubing thinner through the straight sections.

They are made from 4130 chromoly steel tubing and given Kink's TruTherm post weld heat treatment for strength after welding. The Helm comes in a range of rises to suit your preference, all with 12 degrees of backsweep and 1 degree of upsweep.

Features

Multi butted chromoly tubing. Thicker where it counts in the bends, weld points and bar ends, thinner through the straight sections to keep weight off.
Post weld heat treated. Kink's TruTherm treatment is applied after welding for superior strength through the joins.
12 degree backsweep. Every rise runs 12 degrees of backsweep with 1 degree of upsweep, so the feel stays the same as you go taller.
Five rises to choose from. 8.75", 9", 9.5", 10" and 10.5", with width going from 29" up to 30" as the bars get taller.
4130 chromoly steel. Full chromoly construction through the main tubing and crossbar, at 31.3oz in the 9.5" rise.
