Whip it real good with one of these steazy machines from Kink BMX. If you are looking for one super stylish bike that is chockers full of great parts and features then you have landed on the right page. These Whips boast a full Chromoly Frame, Bar, Fork and Cranks for strength and a full parts kit from Kink and Mission to really make it pop! This is the XL version which features a 21 inch Top Tube for the slightly taller beginner rider or for those who simply enjoy the feel of a 21.


Kink Whip XL One of our most popular models, the Whip, is also available in an XL 21” toptube size. This beast is constructed using full 100% 4130 chromoly throughout the entire frame, fork and handlebar set. Complimenting this strong, durable structure are sealed bearings everywhere; headset, bottom bracket, and both front and rear hubs. Both wheels are laced up with Mission Mylar rims, giving this bike double wall rims front and rear. Topping off all the great functionality, the Whip XL comes in a Matte Sedona Red colorway.

Featuring Kink Stryker forks, taller 9.25” Kink T925 bars, and Kink Ridge 3-piece tubular chromoly cranks, the Whip XL is fitted with great components featuring modern geometry. Adding to all these specs are the comfortable Kink Form flangeless grips, Kink Hemlock pedals, and Mission Charge sprocket. Retailing for a price everyone can agree with, the Whip XL cannot be beaten.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.

Top tube is measured from the centre of the seat tube to the centre of the head tube, so it is not the same as the length of the tube you can see.

  • A 20 inch bike is the standard adult BMX and most riders end up there, so do not size a tall child down to a smaller wheel.
  • 22, 24 and 26 inch bikes are adult bikes with a bigger wheel, not bigger frames for taller riders.
  • Size up for stability through trails and transitions. Size down if you want the bike quick and twitchy for spins and grinds.
  • Top tube is fixed, but stem length, fork offset and bar position all shift how roomy the bike feels once you are on it.
