The Maxxis DTH runs a grooved slick tread on a lightweight casing. The grooves maximise rolling speed by minimising drag, which is why it started life as a BMX race tyre and then found a home in street, pump track, skate park and slopestyle riding.

This version carries Silkworm, an exclusive Maxxis material built into the casing as a breaker under the tread. It lifts puncture and tear resistance without adding a heavy layer. Wire bead, 20 inch, sold as a single tyre.

Features

Grooved slick tread. The grooved slick pattern maximises rolling speed by minimising drag, so you carry more speed between pedal strokes.
Silkworm breaker under the tread. Silkworm sits in the casing under the tread to lift puncture and tear resistance on rough ground.
Born on the race track. Designed as a BMX race tyre, it has also found a home in street, pump track, skate park and slopestyle riding.
Lightweight casing. A light casing keeps rotating weight down, so the wheel spins up quicker out of corners and off the gate.
Sold as a single tyre. One tyre per order, so add a second to the cart if you are doing front and rear.
