These Merritt Brandon Begin Guard Sprockets are proving to be very popular, also know as the Pentaguard, this is a super strong five spoke design that is CNC’d from 7075 aluminium with a full guard to protect that chain.

*Random fact- apparently Brandon designed this Sprocket, whilst listening to the band 'KoRn' and wearing pants that were suitable for hiding in a fluorescent orange hedge...

Features
  • Full guard around the teeth. The guard runs the full way around to protect the chain, so grinds and rough landings land on the guard instead.
  • CNC machined 7075 aluminium. Merritt machine it from 7075 aluminium, which is where the super strong reputation comes from.
  • Five spoke Pentaguard design. Five arms run out to the guard, which is why riders call it the Pentaguard.
  • Brandon Begin signature. Brandon Begin's guard sprocket for Merritt, and one of the more popular guard sprockets going around.
